Not sure if any of you saw this yet, but the Jazz's Instagram posted this to their "story."

Things are starting to get real. So pumped for season. I know this is probably just a lame thread but I'm avoiding doing homework haha.

Boston -- you mean Boston Garden, or Fenway Park?

The Jazz note is a classic. I think it's as cool as the Chicago Bulls' logo.

I think there are too many fans, that dismiss the importance of the home court. If the Jazz are bringing out the old logo, than we need to perform the way we did the first time Utah saw this floor. I think that there is no better time to that, than the present. The floor and logo, mean everything to a team, especially when it comes to the WIN column. When New Orleans Jazz made their way to Utah in the Salt Palace, we represented the old floor they had in New Orleans. In Utah however, this was our new team and we could care less where that Jazz were from and had gone. We had a team, that to us was brand new, to the rest of the league nobody expected us to make an impact or become anything. In fact when the Jazz came to Salt Lake City it was supposed to be a temporary location until the league found a better place for the permanent home of the Utah Jazz. We were supposed to eventually end up as the first professional basketball team in Miami Florida. Larry H. Miller bought the team and tried to get the Jazz games televised on a higher national level. Because of our unknown statute, his request was denied. He then purchased his own television station to get more recognition to the Utah Jazz. This also brought the attention of National media.
The only problem was, there was nobody to fill up the stands at the Salt Palace Arena. During the Jazz's first year they sold out only 6 times. When Larry took over, he started sending people outside the arena before games selling tickets for almost nothing. (Just to fill up the stands). My point is, when the Jazz drafted John Stockton and then Karl Malone, they were nothing and they were expected to lose. But they didn't. They changed the minds of the NBA and they did it on the court that they are laying down for the Jazz to perform on this year. The first time that the Jazz played on this court, it was to prove everybody wrong and they did. What will happen the second time around? We are in the same position. Nobody thinks that we will be able to do anything, especially with the Warriors coming into power. If we are playing on this court, we need to rise to the occasion. We are the team that nobody expects anything from, Make them change their minds!!

The only part you're leaving out is that the Jazz were horrible for years when they first came to Utah and started playing on this court that you see as so sacred.

The Jazz FO are planning on having an unveiling of the approved renovation plans for the Jazz arena around 09/21/2016, right before camp. The new court is part of that.
