What's new

GT: Jazz @ Magic | Nov. 11, 2016 | 5pm MDT

What's up with JJ? We need him to play well.

I think JJ pissed off QS a little bit and coach sent him a message. There were two instances that I saw where Johnson completely dogged it on defense. Glad to see from top to bottom that you can't take plays off on this team.

Vogel has some work to do in Orlando - The Magic have some nice pieces on defense but holy cow they had a few 5 man sets where you have to wonder where the scoring is going to come from.

For wins they're going to have to depend on second tier players getting hot.

With Hayward back, I think JJ is now realizing what it is like not to start for 1st time in 13 years.

Probably a mind Puck. He'll snap out of it.

I looked it up last night - The game against The Knicks on Sunday was the first time JJ came off the bench in 13 years.

I'm sure he knew the situation coming in otherwise he would not have signed a contract if he wasn't accepting of this role. I'm inclined to agree with you in that it's just an adjustment that has to be made.

Away from home and family, lots of flights, yeah...it is. Most teams struggle on the tail end of a 5 game away trip.

They went from NYC to Philly and then Orlando to Miami.

That's a flight, a bus ride, another flight and a 30 minute puddle jump

Our early-season schedule is pretty intense, loaded with road games (8 of our first 11) and on a steady 5-games-in-seven-nights pace. After tonight, we would have played more games than any team except the Kings, who also did a 5-game East-coast swing. It's not just this trip, we have the league's tough opening schedule.

The play that impressed me most in the entire game was early on favors got switched on to Dj augustine out at the 3 point line and augustine tried his hardest to use his quickness to shake favors. Favors side to side quickness was amazing and he didn't let the dude get any space whatsoever and forced the augustine into a turnover.

Is that what broke his knee again?
