The NBA seems so silly right now in regards to travel calls. 4 even 5 steps ok. Slightly shuffle your feet as you catch the ball, not ok. The one gives you such a huge advantage when it isn't called the other eh.

It's because steps aren't counted after the ball last hit the floor. Steps are counted when you can no longer legally dribble the ball. Those you think are four steps are usually just two.
