Really, cause by my count we have AK, CJ, Fez, Elson, Watson, Price, all coming off the books. A total of 25.7M. Sure we will have to add two fairly heafty rookie deals, but last I checked 25.7M is not nothing.

You are kidding about Kapono right? If we renounce Miles and dont re-sign AK we might have a little. Will depend on CBA, but Nene, Gasol, Chandler are dreams unless we do a sign and trade.

Who would have thought a couple of years that we could seriously talk about signing Humphries to improve our team?

The Jazz will still be above the cap, and thus will only have the MLE to spend on free agents.

The MLE will be more than whatever amount the Jazz are able to get under the cap (unless the Jazz are able to dump salary in trades), so it wouldn't be worth it to renounce all those guys AND the MLE for cap space.

The Jazz will still be above the cap, and thus will only have the MLE to spend on free agents.

And under new CBA salary cap may even be lower.
