Following potential 2017 draftees...

Pretty sure he's gonna get dismissed for this... they recruited over him next season with Billy Preston too..

For the fans of ORtg/DRtg in this thread. Wake Forest's So. 6'10" PF John Collins has an Ortg of 130.8 and DRtg of 91.6, a tremendous margin.

HE's playing on ESPN3 right now. I've been hyping Collins since last year, DX moved him up to a projected 1st rd pick in 2018 in their latest mock.

Lauri Markannen has an ORtg of 145.4 thus far...

Tacko Fall has the only DRtg under 70 in college at 67.4

Justin Patton on Creighton might have what it takes to land in the teens. He easily looks like a 1st rd talent, like a better version of Damian Jones from last years draft.

Would love to see the Jazz take him to be groomed as Rudy's backup

he would be one hell of a back up

The ramifications of this draft will truly be awesome. It'll produce seismic shifts in power eventually - there's some future HOF's to be had..

This is the draft scouting depts should go to their bosses and ask for increased budgets on the basis that 'this is THE year'..

There's such an abundance of talent the depth is such that a $100,000,000 player is sure to fall far... Hopefully the Jazz have positioned themselves to try and draft that player a few times over

Obviously the pool will weaken after declarations/the pull-out deadline; the strength of this draft could intimidate many into trying to get/play better next year and go for higher position. It'll still end up loaded into the 40's any way ya slice it though.

Everyone knows about the PG's, and they will remain the strongest position in this class. Early in the season im seeing the PF, PF/C and PF/SF(to a lesser extent) positions have really strengthened well beyond what was anticipated.

There's still late-bloomers sure to pop up.. (I actually think the frequency of late-bloomers would increase under conditions like what were seeing this season).

I just caught a game of Elie Okobo, French PG prospect born in 97. I really like his chances at being a damn good pro somewhere. His build is like Gilbert Arenas. I'd consider taking a flier in the 50's.

There's another interesting 98-born 6'3" French guard prospect, more of a SG but has combo skills. Possibly 6'4". d'Adam Mokoka, he projects as a strong/athletic/long defensive minded guard who can get out in transition and hit the occasional open J and open teammate..

I read earlier that Mokoka played well vs Mushidi and Ntilikina earlier this year. Still trying to find boxscores or an article on it. I know Mokoka played well vs the US team at the Albert Schweitzer tournament dropping 14 in a W.

Miami's Fr. Bruce Brown is probably superior to these French players if you're looking for 6'3" guard. Different skillsets tho.

The PF's tier out sorta like this so far in my book.

Giles (top-5) PF

Adebayo (lottery) PF/C
Rabb PF

Zach Collins (fringe lottery) C (Possible PF/C)
Hartenstein PF/C
Jarrett Allen PF/C
Robert Williams PF/C (I'd put him higher but don't want to overreact to something I've suspected all along - In Rivals final rankings he was #67 LOL)

MArques Bolden (top-25) PF/C
Jonathan Jeanne PF
Omer Yertsuven PF/C
Justin Patton C/PF (possibly PF/C)
Tony Bradley PF/C

Thomas Bryant (fringe 1st rd) PF/C

Luke Fischer PF/C
Tariq Owens PF/C

Temple might have 2 prospects.. Obi Enechionyia 6'10 F shoots 3's at a 47% clip on massive volume 6.3 attempts per. Also blocks 3.2 shots per game.

Add him to the above list (46-60) :P

and
Chance Commanche So. on Arizona
Killian Tillie Fr. on Gonzaga
Mamadi Diakite RS Fr. PF on Virginia
Jonathan Williams Jr. on Gonzaga
Konstantinos Mitoglou Jr. on Wake Forest
Isaac Copeland Jr. on Georgetown

Josh Hart's trying to keep Nova in this game single-handedly 19pts in the 1st half on 6/9 FG's, 4rebs 3 ast 1stl.

If he continues this and they comeback and win I'll probably bump him up to the mid 30's in the next mock.

Quiet 1st half for V.J. Beachem

Mikal Bridges would be a near perfect fit in Utah! This is a spot he could develop and flourish off the bench. Eventually he could provide a serious defensive boost behind Hayward.

In college he can guard 1-4.. He's long and athletic, almost like a Mo Harkless.

From what I've seen this year he looks like he could go in the 1st rd of the 2017 draft.

****, Josh Hart would be a good fit on Utah too. not so much for long term plans but simply because he'd be great insurance for an injury. He's the perfect type of player thats ready to play heavy minutes if called on right away.
