I found this article quite interesting and i wanted to share, it basically says brandon knight can be the next franchise player for utah or the catalyst to make the team better
In my opinion he has much better potential than kemba walker and he isnt undersized like him so definitely the second best guard in the draft
Its likely we will get a 6-7 th pick if we cant win the lottery, and there will be no irving left till then. So do u think, Brandon Knight worths our first pick? or we should get another guy and hope to get him at the second pick?
If the do draft Knight with the first draft (which I am quite excited about), then I don't think we'll be getting another PG in Jimmer with their second pick (which I am sad about)... *sigh*
Overall I'd rather build around Knight than Jimmer though.. can't pass on an athletic PG in the mold of Westbrook, Wall, Rose,..
Do NOT waste a top 5 pick on a PG. It is proven every year you can win a ring without a top flight PG. Build around another position, IMO.
If there's a Deron Williams or Chris Paul caliber PG there, I'd take him early - but Brandon Knight isn't on that level. Pass.Do NOT waste a top 5 pick on a PG. It is proven every year you can win a ring without a top flight PG. Build around another position, IMO.
Derrick doesnt feel a need, if we traded up it wouldnt be for him.
I have him about an equal with Barnes. Love his three point shot, which is only 1.4% worse than the Jimmer. He is 18 so has a lot more potential than any PG not named Irving.
Here's the problem with Knight. If he came into the draft out of high school, he'd be lucky to go late first. If he went to Kentucky last year, he'd be Eric Bledsoe. In this draft, he's top 5. I like stuff about him. He's got good size, good (not Westbrook) speed, and there is reason to believe he could mature into a really good PG. But he's just not the caliber of guy you would ever normally draft Top 5.
Brandon Knight (born December 2, 1991 in Miami, Florida), is an American college basketball player for the University of Kentucky. He is a 6-foot-3, 175-pound point guard.
