What's new

Trey Burkes

Burke shooting 47%/48%. Guess we DID hold him back!

Not really, but it irks me he seems to have turned it around after having multiple opportunities in Utah to be a starter or reserve and constantly chucked up bad shots.

Did you not watch the video? He is taking the same shots.

And in the game previous (to his good game) he shot 0-5 and hadn't scored in double-digits since early-November.

He's always had a good game here or there to get people's hopes up. He also always has gone back to the norm.

He's had 2 good games this year. Only difference ids he doesn't have enough freedom to have the really bad games that he had so often with the Jazz.

No ill will to Trey from me. Glad to see he still has a career in the NBA. Always thought he had a nice pick n roll game and a decent crossover. Thing is he doesn't play any D and between him and Exum we picked the latter for that reason primarily. He was a good soldier for the most part and not the headache that Kanter turned out to be.

The only thing that he probably is glad about is that he shoots the triple with nearly fifty percent. Anything else does not seem like he is having fun and piling up stats. He averages 12 mpg and 5 pts and 1 assist behind Wall.

Too bad Angry Rhonda did not see the writing on the Wall. Trey would have made a great 3rd string PG for vet minimum

These are the types of games I thought we'd be seeing from Burke all the time.

Sad it didnt work out.

Yep, Trey's NBA nickname should be fool's gold. Looks good from a distance, but then when you take a closer look you can tell it's not the real thing.

Too bad. Had he demanded a trade, we might have moved on sooner instead of wasting our valuable time.

Anyway, his true colors eventually came out when he said Utah had been trying to hold him back.

I wish him well in his next basketball team. Hope he likes eating with chop sticks.
