How is Hayward feeling?

Butler back to the championship game....

On ESPN last night he said he has no regrets and is loving the NBA. But since he was so close last season Im sure he is really wishing he could be on the floor with them. Its too bad he doesn't at least have the playoffs to look forward too. But granted he does have a brand new Honda Accord.

Man if Hayward was still on that team they would be dominating. Probably will be bittersweet for him if Butler wins on Monday.

Glad the Jazz have him. Lets draft Howard with the #6 pick.

Is drafting Howard with our 2nd first round pick extremely stupid? Am I getting caught up in the Butler hype machine? Since #12 picks are usually a pretty hit and miss anyway, why not roll the dice on a 6'8" kid with a great head on his shoulders who seems to have that uncanny ability to just win?

Isn't he a senior? I believe nbadraft.net doesn't even show him getting drafted.

Yes, it would be really stupid to draft Howard with our 2nd first round pick.

If he's that low ranking of a prospect the Jazz need to snag his *** in the 2nd round. People will continue to underestimate this kid, but he's going to contribute at the next level.

Come on. Howard's ceiling is clearly Adam Keefe.

most teams could use an Adam Keefe deep on their bench. I'm not joking.

But, naw, we don't need to bust ourselves to get this kid. The notion of selecting him #12 is laughable. Getting Mack on the cheap would be intriguing....

You do also realize that the amount of players who win NCAA championships and NBA championships is really small, right? There's not really any correlation with NCAA tournament success and NBA success.

At 4.9 Million Guaranteed, I am sure Hayward has NO regrets.

Exactly, I'm sure any time he starts feeling a little blue and wishes he was back at butler he just looks at his paycheck and smiles.

Draftexpress doesn't even rank him in the top 100 prospects. Among seniors, they have him ranked 60th in the nation. Obviously these rankings are subjective, but draftexpress is pretty reputable. In other words, I think Butler's mascot Blue 2 has a better chance of playing in the NBA.

Shelvin Mack ranked #65 and LaceDarius Dunn ranked #93 among top 100 prospects.

told yall hayward wasnt heart and soul of butler. In scouting reports trust me hayward was the 3rd guy they talked about. FIrst was mack and then howard. BUt congrats to hayward for convinving the jazz he was a lottery pick. KId prob has a poker future infront of him cuz nba he does not

Yes, clearly the University of Tennessee had to wait to get that stiff Peyton Manning off their squad so they can win the National Championship in 1998. And the Indianapolis Colts have been kicking themselves ever since for drafting that piece of ****.

****ing dork - come up with another line jag off.
