Go get Wilson Chandler... he wants out. He starts at PF for us... adds depth at the wing when Hood gets hurt.

GSW pick and cap fodder... need more? okay... fine Tomic too... you are welcome.

co-signed.

In all seriousness, what would it take?

He makes $12,016,854 next year, and $12,800,562 the year after. It'd be nice to hear a capologist sound off on those figures vis-a-vis Hayward, Hill, Diaw, JJ, etc. But, yeah, in the end this would be an high-impact move if we want to get into the next tier of teams.

Salary shouldn't be an issue imo... may cost us Ingles but he's cooled. Could move off of AB, Favs, or JJ at any time really easily. Could even re-trade chandler if it doesn't work well assuming he's healthy.

Denver may want more than my offer of course... OKC first plus GSW 1st seems like a bit much. If it works can likely get back a first for Favs in the offseason.

Have we completely given up on Favs then?

Pretty sure he's dead... only a few dudes have come back from that and it hasn't happened in like 2000 years.

That's my question. I'd say it's pretty obvious that favors is injured, and needs to heal. What if he comes back next year and is the same player we know him to be, averaging 16 and 8, with 2 blocks and 2 assists?

Also, I think favors needs to lose some weight to help him stay healthy. We need to stop playing him at backup center.

I'd honestly be devastated if all we can get for Favors is a late 1st. He was really good last year. I wouldn't rush things. He might turn it around. Even if he doesn't recover all the way, I'm sure with improved play, we can get more than that for him!

I say no to trading Ingles! His 3-point shooting may have cooled (it's hard to shoot 50+% from 3 over the course of the entire season), but he still plays good D, he's a locker room glue guy, and last but not least, this message board would be a lot less entertaining without all of the funny insults made about him by opposing fans.

I don't think I said late first... we'd get more.

My bad... I didn't want him in the trade... may not have the dough to re-sign him next year.

I do have a hard time being for anything that makes it less likely that we retain Ingles... He's the best.

Great... then we trade him for a mint or move Chandler to save some dough.

Then you trade someone. We've been playing the same game for the last several years. He's a 16/8 player when fully healthy. But that means you discount not only the games missed, but also the games before he's shut down and the games he plays trying to get back to 100%. He's had back and knee problems. Both can be chronic ( the knee likely is).

Favs has been one of my favorite players. But the Jazz can't afford to commit to him financially or strategically, unless he wants a $5m contract to be a back up.

I have always been a fan of Wilson chandler. But hasn't he had his share of injury issues? Are they behind him now?

Really wish we could get crowder from Boston to be our 4.

I love Wilson Chandler. Bring him in. Cut Boris's fat *** & see if we can take the hit.
