The Ignore Function

I prefer the idea of showing a poop emoji in place of all their text.
 
The ignore function needs a lot of improvement.
 
Heh. People change. I'm on the verge of un-ignoring a certain poster.



If you want people to post better, you've got to be ready to accept them when they do.

Haha.. nah I'm not the leader, we're all equal here in the US of A. But you're welcome to fire away your questions there may be others here who can help also.
 
Two ways I'd improve the ignore function.

1. Keep their text hidden even when quoted by another poster

2. Make my posts be hidden from those on my ignore list. Have it work both ways.
 
Another good idea would be a rule where if someone is put on "ignore" by more than a certain threshold of other posters, they automatically receive a temporary ban.

Power to the people.

I'd like to see anything like that require a mod review tbh. Or some form of check so a bunch of people don't just decide to mass ignore people to mess with them.

Terrible idea. Sorry, but just awful. Bad. If I were mod this idea would never happen. Terrible.

But really, not a good one. If people want to ignore a poster, then ignore him. Doesnt matter if 50 people ignore him, if the the other 50 dont that means they like seeing their post.

Lol I see where you are coming from but also just because 50 out of 100 does not ignore a poster doesn't mean that they like seeing her or his post. Maybe they just don't give a **** or have a pair grown under to bare to live and post with the people that hate them or bugs them.
