Because we are below the floor we would actually save money by trading for him at his current cap number.

We are 4 mill below floor and that would need to be distributed among team... trading mack for dwill would only cost an additional 2 M in actually salary paid. We save... they save... we send a second rounder cuz we have too many.

I'm not worried about that. Giving up assets to get him wouldn't be smart if we could just sign him after a buy out.

I think the jazz make another trade anyways to get rid of Shelvin Mack.

We have 4 draft picks this year... we'd save 2 M... not really room for 4 rooks next year... 2 at most. It's worth it imo.
