Sources: Utah has expressed interest in re-acquring Deron Williams

If we do in fact manage to sign Deron Williams, y'all will see that he is still better than George Hill. Besides, Hill is always injured anyways.

Plus, it would only be fitting that our path to to winning a championship in the next couples of years includes bringing D-Will back and Exum realizing his potential :D :D :D

As much as I love D Will and want him back, he's not any less injury prone than George, not even close really.

Some have said that it would be better to sign him after the season... we need to take on salary... the market seems tepid on him and I'd rather see how he fits with this group before deciding to sign him in the offseason. The dude is still good and he can play with any of our other guards. I'd rather not rely on Exum in the playoffs and Hills toe is the type of injury that lingers.

We can't get a deal done with Hill on the extension by all accounts so let's not waste the cap space. Mack and a second rounder... let's do it.

They are like the junkyard... between them they have enough spare parts to duct tape this thing together.

My guess: the Jazz have a deal in place to get Deron, but are waiting until the last second to try and get Cleveland to up their offer for Shelvin before anything is made official.

The best part will be how mad some posters on this site will be. Direct correlation between people who still hate Dwill on this board and people who suck on this board with few exceptions.
I don't want Deron I think it's too big of a risk. That said as long as he accepts that he is a backup, and that his role is that of an insurance policy and backup then I'd be fine with it. As long it costs a 2nd round pick at the most. Bad enough you're picking up his contract, don't give anything up to acquire him.

He has been playing in 3 PG lineups in Dallas. I think he is over his ego.

No he's not better than Hill. Deron is always injured as well.
