Derrick Favors: I'm playing on one leg

I blame lyles

I'm having some health issues myself at the moment. Perhaps some of you could come up with a diagnosis and give me advice on how to handle it with no knowledge of whats going on or the proper training on how to advise on rehab. On second thought, maybe I'll stick with the trained professionals.

Seriously, if this was something they thought was harming Favor's neither the team nor his agent would let him be out there. Sitting a player isn't always the proper course of action. I hope we learn more as it progresses but guessing is just that, guessing.

That and we could have made a trade for a stop gap option while he healed until the last 4-5 weeks he looked like a shell of himself. Has been good recently though.

Also I think they should review those plays... I constantly frustrated by how much contact he takes on shots with no whistles. He's just not explosive enough to finish through it this year. Guy gets murdered on the regular:

We might lose that Pelicans game if it isnt for Favors, but shut him down because he isnt 100%. It would be a different story if he was clearly getting worse and worse as the season went on, but the opposite has been happening.

Yeah, it's really weird like the Jazz trainers might actually know what they are doing?

Without both legs hes our best PF. Shows some heart by Favs playing through it while knowing your stat line looks like **** as a result. I'm sure he's frustrated.

He hasn't looked good recently. He still looks like a shell of himself, despite the much better numbers. He has looked better though, given how low the bar was set. Here's to hoping a full offseason of rest will fix him, but I'm keeping my expectations in check.

Favors was a borderline all star. If he gets healthy again, this team is approaching 60 wins. Imagine what it will be like if George and derrick are healthy and the jazz keep them. That's a contender.

He's had moments where he looks great. Even a game or two with 20 and 10. He was so consistent last year. We were arguing whether or not he was the most important jazz man.

Even if Favors was healthy his numbers wouldn't be as good as last year's (unless he just takes a huge jump with his shooting). Rudy has surpassed him in the offense as a rim threat. I dont equate his numbers with him getting healthier. More so I equate his defensive impact to his level of health.
