1. George Hill's agent is extremely confident there will be a max offer on the table for Hill
2. George Hill rents a home D-Will owns.
3. Dwill is "desperate" to return to Utah
4. Windhorst says Hill fired his old agent this year and hired a new one. Didnt want to discuss details. Says same group was hired by Allen Crabbe (after he fired his former agent) and Tyler Johnson, both who were offered contracts by the Nets. Windhorst thinks Brooklyn might max Hill.
5. Burks will be easy to move if it comes to that to make cap-space.

If Deron really is "desperate" to return and we can't work out things with Hill I'd be fine with bringing him back and along with Exum's development it'd at least give us formidable options if one of the pieces isn't panning out at a particular time.

I don't think either team pony's up though. Think he should be prepared to choose between money and a great situation.

If deron is desperate that's great... we'd get a motivated dwill. Just not sure how much he has in the tank.

If Hill gets the max, the Jazz need to target one of the Suns' PGs to replace him. Can you imagine Bledsoe on this team? I feel like if Phoenix gets in the Top 3 and gets one of the PGs at the top, they'll trade him. Jazz need to be ready with an offer of Burks, Lyles, #26, and next year's OKC pick for him.

Brooklyn makes sense I think I deduced that one around the extension deadline.. They can comfortably max Hill.. and play him in the backcourt next to Lin. They can also afford a few other decent pieces. That'd put them around $95MM for 14 players including the 2 first rd picks and a 2nd.

**** if they got real lucky maybe they could sign Danilo Gallinari with him.. Thats a team that could make a big turnaround.. That'd be the best team they put around Brook Lopez..

He wont come cheap tho, he;s on a very affordable contract for the next 2 seasons.. Brandon Knight could be an option but his contract is a bit inflated..

All are pretty much the same.

Jazz are pretty good, but not contenders. Can they be healthy for the playoffs? Can they retain their talent in off-season?

Very strong on this point. As if Hill's agent had substantive discussions with one or more GM.

Hill's fit with Sixers is scary, both cap space and complementary talent to Simmons/ Embiid: they need a complementary PG to play D, play off ball, knock down 3s and be a strong veteran presence. Hill might like playing with their talent and helping them develop.

George Hill is gone after this season. He will cash in with the team who offers him the most and I don't blame him. This will be the last substantial contract he has in the NBA. Let's hope Exum continues to improve and stays healthy.

2 first rounders plus two good players might be too much for Bledsoe. We still don't know Trey's ceiling

Jazz are kinda the Hipster team of the NBA atm. The real stat geeks and smarter fans love to discuss and watch them while they pretty much go unnoticed by everyone else. Much like the warriors were before they blew up. Here's to hoping we become polarising and hated by most in a few years.

I'm not so sure the Nets would do this. They were burned recently signing older veterans to large deals, and signing Hill won't put them that much closer to contention to a playoff spot. I realize their current draft options are limited (see bad deal signing veterans above), but this is a franchise that needs to take a longer view viz rebuilding. Locking themselves into longer-term, max deals for >30 year old veterans, when contention is not remotely possible, makes no sense.
