Last movie I watched was "Wings of Desire"
![]()
It didn't do anything for me even though it has a 98% on the Tomatometer.
Roger Ebert wrote about it: "You're seduced into the spell of this movie, made in 1987 by Wenders, who collaborated on the screenplay with the German playwright Peter Handke. It moves slowly, but you don't grow impatient, because there is no plot to speak of, and so you don't fret that it should move to its next predictable stage. "
I disagree completely. I grew totally impatient and called an abort after an hour and a half.
Maybe this will cut against my reputation for only liking art movies or whatever.
You should try Warhol's Empire. Give that a shot.
