Gobert rips teammates

Rudy shouldn't be airing dirty laundry and putting himself above the teamike that. If he's going to say anything to the media he needs to use we not them. IMO Rudy was frustrated over one bad stretch and didn't think before he reacted. This team has fight tooth and nail to get to where they are while dealing with very tough injury situations. No player is going to be perfect Rudy included. He's my favorite player, but even I can recognize when someone has screwed up. To say that some players aren't competing is asinine.

the truth hurts

we played much harder yesterday than in quite a few days before. Not an ideal situation not something that should be repeated, but it may not have been a bad thing to happen.

And i like listening to Locke but there's no denying he's never going to bite the hand that feeds him.

Still doesn't make what he said right, and the team had to pick up the slack for Hayward not being there. The team played well in spite of Rudy's words not because of them.

This team has done amazing things to get to where they are in the face the hardships they've had to endure. Favors and Burks missing huge time. Hayward and Hill missing time and growing pains of Exum and Lyles, and now somehow because of words spoken in frustration Hill is a bad teammate and Hayward is soft, and the only reason we are where we are is because of Gobert

Idiot!!

Did we play harder or did we just play a ****tier team, hit open shots, and were playing at home? I lean toward the latter.

Seem to bring the team together I approve us he did have a point im fine with a one and done gripe from rudy my ruby

I saw a lot more urgency.

The bottom line for me is that Rudy burns to win and really cares. It was perhaps a little clumsy how it came out but if that was a part of him being who he is then i'm ok with that package. I hardly expect it to be repeated.

care to elaborate ?

So you were happy with the effort put forth in one of the most important games of the year ?

That's not what this is about. The words spoken by Rudy was selfish. U don't throw your team under the bus like that in the media. If u have issues u handle it behind closed doors as a family.

It was a punk *** move. U and everyone else here has been singing Haywards praises now u think he's soft and doesn't compete?

uh .. i'm assuming Hayward would have been the last one he was referring to. i've also given Rudy the benefit of the doubt that these are things that have been talked about already. Rudy said that Snyder had continuously urged the team to just compete and that he was frustrated that some continuously weren't doing it.

My opinion: Leaders shouldn't throw out vague shots at their teammates. Leaders take responsibility on their shoulders first and accept blame instead of dishing it out. Rudy was right in apologizing for his comments, especially in the public eye. I think what Rudy did has some benefit, but it's kind of a 1 time use thing.

I think there are more leadership models than just one.
