Gobert continues the long tradition of the best centers in NBA history of having more than one nickname. The Stifle Tower is definitely the dominant nick name for Rudy, but he can have many others. Wilt Chamberlain was called Wilt the Stilt, The Big Dipper and Goliath. Meanwhile Shaq was nicknamed Diesel, The Big Aristotle, and 20+ other monikers. Kareem was called Lew, The Big A, the Tower of Power, and The Captain. The difference between Rudy and Shaq is Rudy hasn't come up with any of the nicknames himself. :O
By having more than one nickname, Rudy is in good/great company. Somebody should give this list to Locke or Bolerjack and challenge them to get all of Rudy's nicknames in the play calling in one game.

The French Rejection has a quasi historical connotation. Kinda cool that way, even though it's probably just a reference to the movie French Connection.
