Cakk Bakkers Part Deux: repentance thread

I've been on the site more than normal since the playoffs started, so I'm pretty sure I haven't missed a wave of repentance from the dudes who either thought we should stand pat at the deadline or were fine with the decision once it had transpired.

This is a space where you can repent. Reply below or someone will be forced to bump your old posts -- which bring with it a great deal more shame than just putting it out here simply, honestly, forthrightly.

Guis adding to the roster would kill our chemistry and we need to get Trey, Dante, and AB time on the court.

Yeah. I hate that the Jazz didn't make any moves at the deadline and overcame injuries to get an allstar nod, have a player in the running for DPOY, win their division, take the 5th seed, win the 1st game in their series and head to Utah for games 3 and 4 tied at 1-1.

I hate that. If only they'd moved at the deadline they could have been the 1st seed. True story.

I'm still perfectly fine with their lack of a move at the trade deadline. In fact I still think it was the correct decision.

I wanted lou williams, D-will, and Terrence jones.

Not too upset we don't have any of those guys and can't say for certain that we would be doing better than 1-1 after 2 games in this series. I'm pretty happy that we are tied up after 2 games. Sucks that Rudy got hurt though.

I'd have been good with either one of them. But I'm not upset it didn't happen. Jazz are rocking and about to go up 3-1

Someone please give me a solid argument for why we don't need an additional big right now. Pls. TIA.

We could use Gobert. But none of the other options were better than Favors/Withey/Diaw that were available at the deadline. Who did you want? Bogut? Injured like always. The rest of the available options were too expensive or no better than our current rotation.

In your mind, does he go to Cleveland, get injured, then come here?

No. In light of the fact that players seem to go down like flies here whether u believe the doctors are to blame or whatever u think is the reason we can't field a healthy team. The fact that u think the most injury prone player in the NBA today would've survived to the playoffs.

It was quite possibly the funniest thing I've seen on here.

Prolly not the time for this thread but I do wish we would have added a guy. Quin is a great coach who gets the most out of guys... I think a PJ Tucker would have been a great get. He could start at 4 for us.

I'm going to stay out of this now because I am really enjoying these games and don't want any bitterness to show. Our dudes are fighting and I'm just excited to be in a playoff series we have a legitimate shot at winning. Especially if it is the death knell for this clippers team.
