Playoff Game 3: Jazz vs Clippers 8pm Mountain Time ESPN 2

Great players, absolutely, without a doubt have bad games. Great, super star players, without a doubt miss big shots. I get that. You'll never hear me say the otherwise, but Hayward is more often than not pretty bad in the 4th. Whether it's slipping, bumbling the ball, missing shots badly, dude is poor in the 4th. That missed wide three he took is a microcosm of his game.

Dumb **** response with 0 stats to back it up. Simply just your ****ty memory recalling his bad moments instead of his great ones.

You litteraly had this exact same conversation on Jazzfanz about a month or two ago and you were proved incorrect by the facts. Not surprising you didnt learn and continue to hold onto a false narrative.

He averaged 6 points in the 4th quarter on 48% shooting while shooting 40% from the 3pt line. He also went to the FT line 2 times per game in the 4th quarter. He was 24th in 4th quarter scoring and 16 of the people above him averaged more 4th quarter minutes. All the players above him took more shots to score their points besides Joel Embiid, who obviously had a small sample size.

Honestly, do you do any research before you spout your ********?

Sauce please. I'd love to be able to look at this info.

**** off. Go look at the stats for yourself, they arent hard to look up. I've been through this dance with you before and I provided the links, just go look up the last time you tried to argue this faulty position.

You're a really angry, dude. I don't get it. Honestly, you should spend less time on the cyber and more time outside or something. Maybe find a hobby. Seriously.

I'm not putting this loss all on Hayward, he scored 40 and the game probably is a blowout if he doesn't come out on fire like he did...but c'mon, you can't be bricking/airballing wide open 3's in critical moments of a playoff game if you're "the man" on your team. You just can't. That's two games in a row that he could've greatly altered the game if he makes those "easy" shots.

I just find people who make false claims without any substantive evidence to be annoying.

To find folks annoying is one thing, but all the profanity you use, all the name calling is another. It's over the top. Again, you should think about getting outside or something.

The man just scored 40 points in a playoff game and you're bitching about him.

I didn't think the Hayward hate could get any dumber here - clearly I stand corrected.

I love that people are complaining about Hayward having a career best night in the playoffs in a big game. He played great. Yes he worn down and got frustrated towards the end. He played 42 minutes in a very physical game that had him running the entire game just to get a half decent jump shot off. He was the sole focus of the other teams defense. Traditionally this season he has been a much better player in the 4th than the rest of the game. So that is just an incorrect statement to say he disappears because he does not. Even in this game when he was being doubled he was still drawing players in and getting it to the open guy.

I guess we could have run the same strategy that Clippers run where they conserve their best player until the 4th but we do not have the luxury to do that. If Hayward does very little until the 4th we get blown out early. It would be nice if we had others step up in these games to help him out or we had our best player Gobert to help out and slow the game down and play great defense and get easy baskets and put backs.
