Sit Rudy for the first half, clippers had to game plan for no Rudy and no Blake. Doc doesn't do well with in game adjustments. If Jazz game plan for Blakeless clips works, there is no need to play Rudy. If clippers are winning then bring Rudy in to force them to make adjustments.

Yeah that's smart strategy. Play our franchise player while not fully healed risking his career hoping that one of the 4 all stars on the best team in the league suffers a freak injury that the other all stars can't cover for.
Everyone is playing at some degree below 100% at this point.

I just have no idea what your conditions for Gobert playing are since the one you gave is impossible. If the staff clears him, he should play.
