Playoff Game #4 Jazz vs. Clippers SUNDAY 7:00 p.m TNT, ROOT

I had food poisoning once too. I left a can of opened Hunts spaghetti sauce in the fridge(WTF was I thinking?) and ate it without thinking of how old it was. Could have killed a less manly man than myself.

Yes tinned spaghetti, the real test of manliness, through the generations in pits around the world, men have gathered to watch and gamble on the age old spectacle of two men testing each others limits by eating cans of tinned spaghetti.

I actually think you have a good basketball understanding, but you have literally called me stupid and questioned my intelligence on having a difference of opinion. Then on multiple occasions you have came out and been completely rude to not only me, but others. I was saying Favors can now play more of his position and doesn't have to be a defensive juggernaut and you got on me me even though we were in agreeance. Dude, as I said I like a lot of what you have to say, but being talked down to sucks.

I myself apologize for being a jerk. It just gets tiresome.

I can be a dick.

Well, I think we have made a lot of progress here tonight, it has certainly given us things to think about. I suggest we take a break for now and come back next week to report on what we did with these new insights. Please pay the receptionist on your way out.

Exum was huge tonight. That big three kept us in the game at the moment (with the shot clock about to hit zero nonetheless). Then the huge 5th foul on Crawford. Played pretty good D from what I saw too.

Not sure what Quin was thinking by replacing him with Mack. Right on cue Mack fouls Paul on a three that I'm sure everyone else saw coming.

We won though so it's whatever.

I have no idea what value Mack has on the floor. He doesn't defend, he's a poor passer, he gets stripped of the ball routinely, and he does not really run the offense.

Been there done that

The only question I have about the food poisoned pizza tale is why didn't any of his teammates or coaches get food poisoning too? Did Jordan eat the whole thing himself?

Wow I was going to come in here and pay my compulsory post-game respects and point out that Hayward must be the anti-Jordan, but alas beaten to the punch. Great minds.... I guess.

In a battle of over-the-hill gunslingers between Jamal Crawford and Joe Jesus Johnson, JJ reigns supreme. With eight minutes left and behind by seven points (after several miscues) I was starting to picture a quick exit to this season's roller coaster ride, and then cue Iso Joe to the rescue. It was almost as though Snyder could hear me yelling at the TV set to give it to JJ and clear out. That guy is just soooo CLUTCH!!!!

Really cool moment at the time out with just over a minute remaining as the cameras panned to the bench and Hood who'd just hit a gigantic runner, without saying a word, put his hand on Johnson's knee, and without a word the gesture was returned to the young protege. It was like thanks Joe for saving our season, and Joe was like you too kid. Then there was JJ putting his arm around Joe Ingles after the horn sounded. Somebody said favorite team ever and I concur wholeheartedly.

On a side note, I'm watching NBA on TNT and Chuck just asked why OKC don't play Kanter more...it seems he hasn't noticed Houston attacking Kanter pick n' roll defense every time he is on the court

I almost died on a trip home from a Jazz game. Early morning Denny's is what did it, and I remember the bacon tasting weird. I couldn't take trying to drive anymore, and eventually succumbed to puking for about 2 hours in the pass of mountains between Cedar City and St. George off of a nowhere exit. I was pretty wonky for a day and half afterwards.

Pedialyte is now a staple in my fridge

LOL.

Great game!

I watched it at my parents place while I did laundry. I thought we were going to lose, really I did. Snyder made some great substitutions and JJ, RH and JI all came to play in the 4th!

You know who passes the smell test? Joe Johnson.

Could Hood be our Crawford one day?

Caron Butler suggested grape pedialyte.

Let me see if I get this right. The Jazz play Tuesday 8:30 our time. My assumption is that the team would fly out early Tuesday afternoon as it is only a 2-hour flight. That would give Gordon two nights' worth of sleep in his own bed. That would probably give him enough time to get over the worst of it.
