What's new

Pay Joe Ingles ,he's a coach on the court and does it all

FA Priority for me this off season would be
1) Hayward
2) Ingles
3) Hill

I would seriously rather keep Ingles than Hill. Don't get me wrong I love what hill brings to the team I just don't think what Ingles brings is as easy to replicate.

I see another game where Jingles gets 10 assists again then count me down for this thought as well...... this is hard to do if you're not a PG

I think what Hill does is extremely helpful and he is the better player imo, but the value of their next deals I may agree. Ingles at 10 per or Hill at 25 per?

Ingles at 10 million seems like a pipe dream at this point. He might be 15 million after this playoff series.

I mean, at this point it's a guarantee he gets paid more than JJ Redick, right? They are both free agents and going head to head and it isnt even close who is winning the individual matchup and overall impact.

I think JJ takes a hit for sure. Also older and more injury prone.

My guess is based mostly on that only playoff teams will chase him. Not a high potential young player. Not sure he does a ton to move the needle for a developing team. Not as much money out there and he's still restricted. That said... only takes one ******* and he could get 15M.

I've been fairly close on this stuff but then you see a mozgov and Evan turner deal that no one sees coming. Playoffs do tend to carryover into FA discussions. 10-15 still seems doable on our end.

What teams come for him and what is their cap situation.

The $10.8 mill a year that Burks is getting looks really good now. Bet he's gone.

Also Diaw is 7.5 million and Neto is 1.4 million, both are non-guaranteed.

Boom 20 million from players that would not really hurt Utah by being gone.

Shelvin Mack is a free agent as well. 2.4 million there.

Plus Goberts raise, Haywards raise and maybe an re-signed hill. Lots of money!!!!!!!

I do think the straight spot up shooter types like reddick and korver are less valuable than they have been the last couple years. Need Swiss army knifes and two way players more and more.

Can see it happening more and more, his two man play with rudy has been getting stronger and stronger, especially since the all star break.

Rudy's finishing since the break seems to have improved too, or maybe its just because the pair of them have improved their chemistry.

Who wants to pay 11 million a year for 2 more years to a guy who just sits on IR? I dont think he will be that easy to trade, unless we are taking back a ****tier contract.

The way he has embarrassed Redick has been wonderful

can probably send a pick and get something done. If he passes a physical, then I think there are more than a couple teams that will take a flyer at his price. But, yeah, he isn't an asset any more.
