Playoff Game 7: Jazz @ Clippers Sun 4/30/17 1:30 PM ABC

I think making a batch of beer during the game has got to be pretty good luck, yeah?

Hayward is averaging 27.4 PPG and 8.2 RPG this series minus his 3-point food poisoning game.

Not to mention 44% from three on 6.4 attempts a game.

Superstar status.

Only except he should be more dominant in closeout situations. For example a true superstar shouldnt just throw the ball in Joe Johnson's hands in panic (albeit as good as Joe Johnson...) in the game tying opportunity, but take the shot himself or at least draw a double team and find Joe Johnson or whatever...

I would say that Hayward is one step behind being a superstar. And he needs more of ego than technical skills to be that.

What? Come one man, Hayward was the only reason we had a game tying situation. He was awesome in that almost comeback. Steals dunks and threes, he was all over the place.

Game 6 is an exception and different situation where everyone basically thought we lost the game and have nothing to lose. It is harder to make plays when last 2 mins going head to head and there is no room for sloppyness, and everyone got full concentration. I didn't see enough from Hayward in the game he scored 40 pts. When you score 40 in a playoff game (and you arent taking 55 shots like westbrook) you should basically be able to close out the game.

I am not saying Hayward was bad, just talking about ideal conditions for a superstar. He is not a superstar, YET. Hopefully will be soon enough, and in Jazz uniform.

I'm feeling great today. Pulling out all the superstitious stops. I'm inventing and manufacturing all manner of good luck charms. Got my lucky socks and jazz tie on. Lucky pin on the lapel. Gonna switch into my lucky Gobert jersey for the game, the luck factor of which has increased because now it's signed. Got my ticket from game 4 in my pocket. Gonna have Jazz rally towels stationed strategically throughout the living room along with signed jerseys of Hayward and Favors.

Game 7 LET'S GO

To me this game is on Favors and Hood. If they poop the bed again it's time to move on. If they give it better effort then there is hope with them.
