Quietly Exum and Lyles 6 for 7 shooting the rock and suppose to be busts

Their shooting could have just been lucky shots but these two have been trashed as not deserving a chance to get onto the court. If the Jazz are to lose ,lets see if they have game.Diaw and Mack look lead foot against the Warriors and Exum and Lyles bring more athleticism and that's starting to look like what Jazz need to compete.

Garbage minutes where kind to Lyles stat line. Exum had some moments, but he was also on the court when we blew our best efforts to get the game to within 7 points.

To be fair, he was guarding his man just fine. I was much more frustrated with Hill than anyone else during that stretch, and I'm sure as **** not gonna watch it again to find out if that's right.

Really? Was this the first time when he was on the court and he was pulled pretty quickly...I think it was after the play where he stole the ball, passed it to GH...where he got blocked. From what I remember, Exum did fine.

Exum has shown flashes to me this year, and has multiple attributes. I dont consider him a bust right now at all.

Lyles on the other hand....

This.

More Exum! Already sick of Hill and particularly Mack being beaten on back cuts. Give KidFlash some burn.

Anytime Exum does anything remotely positive, you can bet your *** that tleikheen will make yet another thread about how Snyder should play him more.

This is like, what, the 20th time you've made the exact same thread?

then next game snyder plays exum and exum commits 3fouls in 2mintues and 4 turnovers.

That was the 1st half I believe.

I'm talking about the start of the 4th quarter. Exum was in the game and our offense went to ****.

Lyles hit a 3, which was cool no matter how wide open it was, and he stayed in front of KD on a possession and contested a shot. Those are the reason for optimism. All the other points he scored where complete garbage time style points.

I get the feeling that Lyles has been dogging it all season, hoping to show some flash in the playoffs in hopes of a trade. Most likely to the Lakers. Just a hunch.

I'd trade him to the Knicks for a future 1st round pick. Rumor was Phil Jackson wanted him at 4 but his scouts convinced him to take Kristaps.

I think Exum needs more run. He has been very solid in his limited minutes. There is likely a method to Quin's madness, and it may be protecting Dante a bit and giving him confidence, but he has looked fast and strong and is a very good defender. This summer, he needs to make the same effort Hayward made last summer. He needs to take a leap for us to be near elite.

Ya hill missed quite a few during that stretch.

I like how Quinn is using Exum. However I would like to see him get some run at PG handling the ball. I know he may very well screw up but that's thee point. He needs the xp.
Lyles could be a better match up in this round then Diaw, but what ever Quinn does I trust him.

I agree although even earlier in this season he was missing those easy garbage time shots. I have never seen someone as cold as he was for awhile. He was missing layups wide open. I'm just glad to see something positive. I do think if he is shooting well from 3 he would help us a ton against the Warriors more than Diaw does. It's a bad matchup for Diaw. It's also a bad matchup for Mack.
