They are going to trade IT if they get Hayward or not. IT will not be on the Celtics by the end of next season, book it.
If I were Celtics I'd still keep IT ... but trade Fultz, Crowder and a pick for Butler.

Butler can and will guard LeBron. IT can score. Hayward can be the glue. That team can make the Finals.
They don't want to pay ITs next contract. They are 100% trading him.

How do you know that? They kept the Garnett, Allen, Pierce and Rondo together didn't they?
The Jazz aren't competing with IT/Horford/Hayward, they are competing with Butler/Horford/Hayward and whatever they are able to retain from the Butler trade plus whatever they get from the IT trade.

They'll have to pull some of that off before they sit down with Hayward. That's a lot of uncertainty.

Well but Butler could have made it hard for them. There is a reason why Chicago was 3-1 against Cleveland this year.
