I made a post a few days ago talking about how boston can't lose this summer and how they can get a Paul george or jimmy butler without giving up jaylen brown, or their nets pick this year or next year.
This game is an example of why I said that.
Smart is a beast defensively and getting better on offense all the time. Still really young. (21 or 22 I think)
Avery Bradley is a great defender and pretty great offensively (maybe the best 3 and D guy in the league?) and just hitting his prime. 46% from the field and 39% from 3. Good rebounder (6.1 per game) good passer.
Ollynik is a pretty good player and still very young.
Crowder is a good defender, shoots 46% from the field and 39% from three (same as bradley) and has good size to play multiple positions and is just entering his prime.
Al horford is really good.
Zeller is an ok backup with good size and young.
Then there is jerebko who had a nice game tonight.
Plus their own draft picks (admittedly not good ones)
There is a chance that they could have a roster next year with thomas (or hell, trade him too), horford, george/butler, hayward, jaylen brown, fultz, plus the nets pick for next year in their pocket.
Young good coach. Good GM
