Cavs vs Warriors Game 2

For always being a know-it-all-prick, I'll call every missed call out just for you fish. Actually, we can let you make the call. Maybe we can all stroke that ego you obviously need stroked because all the attention you try to bring yourself on a fan forum full of fans on the same team. You tell us what to do fish. Mr. cool guy. Instruct us.

lmao wut? Know-it-all prick is like the last term I would use to describe FOJ's JFC presence.

This is why it's so much worse when GSW can stack up all the talent in the League inside 1 team.

It's gonna be a very DARK and SAD league if this keeps going. I don't know if I can watch much more of GSW's dominance.

No thanks.
I suggest you try to chill out more though.

Ya, I know very little tbh.

One thing I do know is that lopo was annoying as hell with all his posts about the refs.

In Game 3, the refs are going to call all the stuff on the Warriors they didn't call games 1 and 2. They will probably call more than they should. For example, Zaza and Draymond constantly moving on screens, contact on LBJ going to the rim, etc. will be called when it wasn't so far. To the casual fan, it's going to look like the Cavs will be "given" the chance to win by the refs. This is why I spent so much time last night pointing stuff out. I'm not usually that guy. However, I played that role last night because this series, and playoffs in particular, is bad for the product of the NBA. People want parody. They want close games. They want to be entertained. For those liking this GS dominance, the novelty of it won't last. If you know your team has no chance, why buy season tickets? Why sponsor a team?

If the refs would simply call stuff consistently throughout all games, there would be less to debate. Home town calls are fine. A little here and there is fine. But when Zaza pushes Tristan Thompson 15 feet so Curry can get an open look or when Klay completely runs over Love in the lane getting an and 1 or when LBJ is hacked over and over going to the hole, just call it. It leaves less for speculation. I want to be entertained and last night would have been much closer down the stretch had the game been called more evenly throughout. The separation at the end of the 3rd would have happened at the end of the 4th. Warriors would still have won, but the league would have more "integrity" in the eyes of those who know better.

We can all see for ourselves what happens Wednesday. Hopefully I'm wrong and they just call it even.
If the NBA needs parody I think they need look no further than this post.

Basically a lot of what makes the NBA enjoyable is largely what leads it to be predictable.

You're completely out of line.

How did it ruin the season? This was likely to be the outcome even without Durant.

I think it might ruin the next few seasons when it all becomes repeated over and over, but this season has been fun. The utter dominance of the Warriors has been breathtaking.

If by breathtaking, you mean hard to breath while puking your guts out, then I totally agree.

And for the life of me, I can't comprehend ANYONE in their right mind watching blowout after blowout, and calling that good basketball, or even mildly entertaining.

If Jelly fish Durant had stayed in OKC, there would have been a dogfight in the west between 3 teams to win the western conference. OKC had them down 3-1 last year. How in the hell does that turn into GS being so dominant that things would have been the same? We would have had 3 great series(2 west, 1 finals) compared to zero great series. In fact, we didn't really have a single good series between any top teams this year.

Little sissy Kevin's act of cowardice absolutely ruined basketball this year.

Honestly, I don't even care now if Hawyard signs with the Jazz or not. It's irrelevant. Nobody is winning anything until the Warriors are broken up, and that's more than just Thompson leaving.

This is crazy talk. If all you care about is winning it all, then you might as well sell the team and stop watching altogether.

Regardless of how dominant anyone thinks the warriors are, you build the best team you can and let the cards fall where they may. The warriors are going to be facing a tough financial situation soon and you never know when a key player can get injured. If any one of Curry/Jelly Fish/Green goes down, this team becomes beatable.

as aesthetically beautiful as the way the Warriors plays is .. losing interest rapidly. Two current MVPs in their prime as well as 2 other top 15 players ... way beyond any other "superteams" of the past. KD can enjoy his hollow victory, zero respect for what he did.

As it stands for probably the next 2-3 seasons i've got more chance of hooking up with Jennifer Lopez than seeing a lot of tight hard fought playoff basketball.
