Cavs vs Warriors Game 2

If Lebron wanted Kyrie moved for picks or players it would have been done. Lebron needed Kyrie, he needs that "closer".
CBA restricts things though

People forget the other reason why GSW lost last year. Curry was coming of injury and was clearly not 100%. Now when he is healthy it is like day and night so far. Add Durant and CAVS have no chance in hell this time.

So, let's say the Warriors sweep the Cavs.

Does that change anything for DL? Personally I think the Jazz are competitive with a legit chance to beat any team outside of the Warriors.

So how do you get a team capable of pushing the Warriors.

In Game 3, the refs are going to call all the stuff on the Warriors they didn't call games 1 and 2. They will probably call more than they should. For example, Zaza and Draymond constantly moving on screens, contact on LBJ going to the rim, etc. will be called when it wasn't so far. To the casual fan, it's going to look like the Cavs will be "given" the chance to win by the refs. This is why I spent so much time last night pointing stuff out. I'm not usually that guy. However, I played that role last night because this series, and playoffs in particular, is bad for the product of the NBA. People want parody. They want close games. They want to be entertained. For those liking this GS dominance, the novelty of it won't last. If you know your team has no chance, why buy season tickets? Why sponsor a team?

If the refs would simply call stuff consistently throughout all games, there would be less to debate. Home town calls are fine. A little here and there is fine. But when Zaza pushes Tristan Thompson 15 feet so Curry can get an open look or when Klay completely runs over Love in the lane getting an and 1 or when LBJ is hacked over and over going to the hole, just call it. It leaves less for speculation. I want to be entertained and last night would have been much closer down the stretch had the game been called more evenly throughout. The separation at the end of the 3rd would have happened at the end of the 4th. Warriors would still have won, but the league would have more "integrity" in the eyes of those who know better.

We can all see for ourselves what happens Wednesday. Hopefully I'm wrong and they just call it even.

Hopefully you just save yourself the stress and save us all the annoying posts about officiating and just don't watch the game.

Call me naive but I think we can compete with the Warriors if everyone is healthy and we get improvement from Exum and Hood.

And even if we can't you still want to be peaking when the Warriors split up which will be 3-4 years and that suits our development timeline anyway; Gobert 28, Hayward 31, Exum 25, Hood 27 and if he stays Favors 29. I'd continue to push on a develop if I was DL.

I agree. With Exum and Hood development plus hopefully a useful Burks, we might be able to give them a better challenge. I think we need a stretch 4 as well so hopefully Lyles can give us more than he or Diaw could against them.

We have to plan for 3 or 4 years down the road. I hope Hayward stays, but we gotta move Favors this offseason. I just don't see how he fits into the longterm plans. Unless he misses a ton of time to injury next year, he'll get an offer making $18+ per year in the last big deal he can get. We would be stupid to pay a PF/C on the downturn of his career that much money. His trade value isn't that great right now, but getting something around the draft this summer is better than watching him walk next summer for nothing. Unless of course Hayward needs Favors around to re-sign.

Refs are completely giving the series to the warriors. NBA is rigged, and warriors and these **** refs are ruining our beatiful game. Everyone is ok with what Durant did and it is just unacceptable. The press should destroy him for a soft *** move like that but instead they are sucking his c@&$

lol. We have no shot at competing with the Warriors if they are healthy. The only way to compete with them is to have someone on GS get hurt.

That's the bad news. The good news is, everyone else is in the same boat.

The only way to for any team to compete with a healthy GS team is to get rid of anyone, tank, hope you can draft like OKC did and then hope that your Durrant/Westbrook/Harden are getting good as Curry is fading. And don't trade Harden.

Lastly, if OKC traded Westbrook instead of Harden, is Durrant still in OKC? Probably. lol
