Zach Lowe: Paul George would love to play with Gordon Hayward

Love was good, but I still don't think he's as important as a dynamic wing. He would fit nicely next to Hayward and Gobert, but I have my reservations on how much Gobert and Love would play together against our prime target Golden State.

I'd take either guy, but I am not nearly as concerned about just beating one team. You take a step forward. I think having Love on a longer deal makes it less likely that Hayward does a 1+1 contract. Although if he did a 1+1 Boston won't have the space so maybe we retain him anyway.

You set up to be the best team you can for as long as you can... period. If Durant, Green, or Steph get hurt then you have a punchers chance. You also can't out warrior the warriors. If we played Love in our grind it out style he may have more success and we might have a chance.

Hill, Ingles, Hayward, Love, Gobert is a good start... Use JJ as small ball 4... need Dante to develop... maybe one of our picks turns into our late round steal and unlocks things for us.

You can't look at one move and one team and say that it doesn't make us better than team X so don't do the deal. GS wasn't built that way. If we were Cleveland than you plan for one opponent because you have a limited window. Our situation is different and both guys would be tremendous... the Love hate has gone too far.

Rather have Mr Triple Double coming off the best season in NBA history. Can you imagine Gobert an Favors in the pick an roll with Westbrook? They'd probably both break the single season shooting percentage!

Great! But he is not an option in any single way. Period. So no use pinning over him. he is unattainable.

Wrong. You are wrong. Fake news wrong.

You act like Oklahoma is not in the same position Utah was with DWill. They know Westbrook is walking next summer he will be traded by the deadline mark my words! Might as well do it in offseason so they can draft who they want at 24 an 30.

Oh an all you stupid Westbrook haters he was a key part of a championship contender. You would be stupid to prefer George or Butler over him.

This. ^^^^

Any big moves they make must be weighed on how it will help them match up against the Warriors in the playoffs. I just don't think Kevin Love helps Utah as much as he does Cleveland.

I agree. I was just saying I prefer George over Love. Good points though.

Yeah and I didn't mean to unload on you... your comments were tame... started replying and some of the comments earlier were the motivation.

I disagree see my post above. You don't plan for one team... wasn't how GS built their team. You improve and become as good as you can for as long as you can. Give luck a chance.

Say Green or Durant break their foot... how do they deal with Love and Gobert? PG is a good get and I'd do a deal for either, but I think having him here would lead to Hayward signing a 1+1 and likely bolting with PG for LAL. Love on a longer deal may lead Hayward to sign on for 4+1 and gives us at least two years to get lucky.

No problem with someone preferring one guy over the other, but I don't make every deal thinking will this get us over the hump against GS... just make the team better.

Lmfao, you are bitter and delusional.

have fun pipe dreaming over someone who is not being traded.

So now NY might make porzingis available... this offseason has no chill... pau gasol declines player option and likely takes a smaller deal... they clear space for George Hill who is in SA.

Guys this is going to be a wild few weeks... when it's over I hope DL comes out on top.

Agreed. So much going on and so many possibilities that there has to be opportunity to improve. Jazz need to swing hard and land someone IMO. Hayward might depend on it.
