Any interest in Jordan Mickey?

Was waived by the celtics in part so they could sign Hayward. I've liked him since he came into the league. I'd assume he'd be cheap.

Not really. The roster is pretty much set unless a trade is made. We have Favs, JJ, Jerebko and Bolomboy at 4. There really isn't room for Mickey.

Mickey seems like a better option then Bolomboy, who might not make the team.

He was a high 2nd round pick in 2015. The Celtics drafted RJ Hunter in the first round that year and they have already parted ways with him. So everything the mighty Ainge touches doesn't turn to gold.

I personally like him over Jerebko as well and JJ is old while Favors can't seem to stay on the court

Would also point out he was a fan favorite in Boston. Seems like there is some upside there.

I like Mickey better than Bolomboy... honestly I like Griffin better too, but the Jazz will keep Bolomboy. I had a brief conversation with someone in Vegas in high level management for the Jazz he assured me Bolomboy makes the roster. I didn't ask... he volunteered the information.

Unless we do a two for one trade we won't be adding one of these guys as both likely make a roster.

Mickey and Jordan Bell remind me of one another - under-sized shot-blocking freaks with athleticism. Mickey never gt a chance in Boston.

This. ^^^

Dance with the one that brought you. If anyone deserves a shot at making the Utah Jazz, it should be Eric Griffin. I'm guessing that the last decision to be made is Bolomboy vs. Griffin. I'd prefer to see Bolomboy cut and then immediately re-signed to a two year split contract and Griffin get a three year deal with the Jazz that has a team option for the last season.

The Celtics are placing guys on the waiver wire right and left. They let a guard go yesterday that was a 2nd round pick in 2016 to sign the SMU forward the Jazz had some interest in draft night.
Demetrius Jackson kinda sucks. Like Bolomboy he needed to shine in SL to have a chance and that didn't happen. Abdel Nader did and he'll have a spot.
