So this was undeniably awesome.

I was sitting in my floor seats at the Utah / BYU women's volleyball match last night, and guess who sat down next to me?

I chatted with Rudy and Raul and they were friendly and awesome. They also seemed quite amused at the intensity of my cheering for the Ute volleyball team. The broke out with big smiles and laughs each time I jumped out of my seat to celebrate a kill. I told them I would cheer just as hard for them when it was their turn.

Dude is a lifer... unless he wants out we keep him around at the minimum. He's more useful than Evans and is a great teammate. I don't think he gets an offer that we would not beat.

No one wants to stay on a team they aren't getting minutes for. This is his last year in Utah.

Actually, Raul is a much better player than Evans and has improved significantly every year, in my opinion, something that we didn't see much of from Evans.

This part made me laugh.

These are young guys who aren't married -- it's girls volleyball, doesn't surprise me at all -- the girls see them and they all want dates. The Jazz players are celebrities in SLC. Not many college girls in SLC would not want to go out with a Jazz player if they had the chance.

Or maybe they just like be active in the community. Plus, these are two foreign guys who grew up in places where you don't have to be 21 to drink so they don't get a boner at 25 just thinking about going out and "getting wrecked."

Actually, Raul is a much better player than Evans and has improved significantly every year, in my opinion, something that we didn't see much of from Evans.

That's what I said... he's more useful than Evans.

I disagree with Cy in thinking he won't want to be here. I don't think he gets much of an offer elsewhere and we will pay him appropriately... not every guy thinks they are all-NBA material.

I'm guessing Utah. If I wasn't from here and lived in SLC and was not LDS, I would cheer for the team closest to me.

I was cheering madly for Utah. Gobert and Neto acknowledged great play on both sides.

When you are a Jazz player, you can not afford to piss off either the red or the blue!
