Nah, it's gold. Straight yellow is lighter. It's pretty close to LSU's shade, which they call gold.

As others have said, after seeing the players in them I like them more than I thought I would. With the size of the note and number you probably can't place them lower but if the "font size" was just one or two points higher so to speak it would naturally sit lower. However who knows and I'm sure as I see them more it will grow on me more and more, as it is I am tempted to get one.
On a side note I wish they sold the sleeved jerseys in every color.

I actually have a black and gold Deron Williams Jersey. It's a jersey the team has never worn but they used to sell them at Fanzz. Just checked and they don't sell anything like it anymore.

LMAO. Lots of color blind teams call yellow gold. Just because somebody calls their shade of yellow gold, doesn't make it so.
Gold is nothing close to yellow.
These wizard jerseys were closer to gold than any shade of yellow.
