my post is reality. and i can even leave obama in that qoute. Obama thinks and says that in private. it is about banning the guns 1 step at a time. lots of other democrats said it publicly. use google! i have heard democratic party members syaing they support a total gun ban like in australia

that is how you reach your destination step by step by step. if i take 1 step you cannot say i am not intended in reaching my destination. the more steps i take, the more it is clear what my destination is!

I expect to wake up one day and see on the news that the USS Nimitz was sunk and the 6000 people aboard are all dead.

I've imagined in vivid detail my last moments with the bulkhead giving way to an explosion followed by a rush of seawater, and scrambling with everything I'm worth to the hatch, only to be overcome and die.

Trump is going to get my fellow service members killed. They will die horrific deaths. Trump is not worth one of them.

I expect to wake up one day and see on the news that the ship I spent 4 years of my life on has been destroyed and all aboard it are dead. I'm not joking. I wish I was.

I wish I could take the place of one of them. I wish this was my time to serve. None of the rest of them deserve this. No one should have to die because we have such horrible leadership.

Pres Lincoln blatantly canceled "Freedom of the Press" to curb the copperheads of the North and prevent the real danger of a mob overrunning the Whitehouse and just letting the secessionists go.

I don't think the DumpTrump media is in any substantial respect an objective or publicly responsible "Press". Throwing them all in the hoosegawh would not materially restrain responsible reporting of real news, it would just be a realistic response to an anti-democratic insurrection.

Trump won't do it though. It is soooo much his ace politically to have THEM daily demonstrating their delusional take on everyday trivia. America is increasingly reactionary to those those morons who sincerely believe "they" are "The Press".

In neither of them does he say he wants to take away, or confiscate guns. Now, maybe whoever imposed the text at the bottom wanted to hear that, but he didn't say or mean that at all.

That quote is not true. Your video response isn't of that quote, and you have nothing supporting that it is.

Your mic drop is on par with antivaxxers and flat earthers. Which, mind you, are the same tactics donnie's been using since day one.
 
So with all of this evidence you've put forth, it seems to support that you, and at least some of the right, are disconnected from reality.

You think you can spend 4 years of your life serving aboard a U.S. Navy warship and not imagine it coming under attack?

My job was the work center supervisor of the RAM (Rolling Airframe Missile) system work center, a point defense weapon system https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RIM-116_Rolling_Airframe_Missile designed to shoot down enemy guided missiles that were fired in an attempt to sink the ship I was on. I would not have been doing my job if I didn't imagine what failing to fulfill my mission would result in. If I failed my ship would be hit by enemy missiles. The 6000 sailors aboard that ship would be at risk of death. I would be at risk of death. If anyone died because I did not do my job I would hope that I was among the dead.

You don't know anything about military service.

I imagined 1000 different scenarios relating to my ship being under attack. I imagined my own death and the death of every person on that ship. It was my motivation to do my job every day while at sea. I knew there was almost no chance that I would be called upon, but I also knew that I was ready, that my missile systems were ready. I knew that if called upon I would not fail. My missile system would not fail. I would live and my 6000 shipmates would live, and we would be in a position to defeat the enemies of the United States.

You don't know anything about being at sea on a warship. You don't know anything about being the point at which our enemies would direct their attacks. I do. I took it very seriously. I imagined success and I imagined failure. I sought to succeed. But I also joined because I believed that if someone should die, one of them should be me, in the hope that I would take the place of another more worthy of living. Maybe that sounds dark to you. Maybe you think I need lithium. I think it means I did exactly what I should have done. I think I did it well.
