Quin's rotation - he deserves a game ball

I know +/- is not always telling, but tonight it was. The starters struggled. But the game really changed when Quin went with Favors and Udoh, Sefolosha, Mitchell and Burks. Yes, I know, technically Mitchell was a starter due to Hood's intestinal distress, but he will be a sub. They brought the Jazz back and handed a 9pt lead over to the starters with ~5 mins left

What a great lineup! It was fun to watch those guys get after it, especially on the defensive end. I think I said it before, but I see a lot of games where the starters just need to play to a draw and Utah's depth should give the Jazz the edge.

Quin is off to a great start in terms of managing the lineup and rotations.

And all you Burks haters got shut down tonight!

I have thought quin to be a great coach from day one. My faith in him has never waivered.

We are so lucky to have him.

You would be singing a different tune if Burks hadn't caught streaky hot fire and Denver couldn't buy a bucket in our porous defense. Denver was missing so many wide open looks. #thanksQuin!

So how’d it go testing the waters of Denver fandom last night?

You’d be singing a different tune if Utah didn’t obliterate Denver’s offense in the second half. For a team so dedicated to winning, they should work on that.

Working on hitting wide open shots should be priority number one. How did they miss so many and why was Utah allowing all of them?

So basically the same type of thing that happens frequently in NBA games to one or both teams.

if lebron missed all those shots and didn't get all those rebounds, he would suck at basketball. also, if MJ had missed that shot against Russell, he wouldn't have hit the game winner.

Atrocious effort. Should fire Snyder and bring back Corbin. Would have lost last night but at least we’d have a lot of nuanced discussion of Ty’s masterful schemes.

I could say the same for Utah in the first half - missing wide open shots and not converting at the rim. But the subs shut Denver down. Sure they missed some shots, but they also had a ton of turnovers: Utah getting steals, causing bad passes, player stepping out of bounds. Many forced turnovers, not just bad shooting by the Nuggets.

franklin still doing this kinda ****?

I haven't seen anyone mention that Neto didn't get any minutes and we had some point guard by committee moments that worked. I remember Ingles, Mitchell, and Burks in particular, there may have been other combinations.

Neto was out.
