his party was called socialist hogwash drivel party(to lazy to search for full official name) but i concede this as north korea is called a democratic republic.

actually i am trying to have an honest reasonable discussion. as i said i am willing to concede certain points. him saying he is a socialist, his party being called socialist whatever, and the book he wrote about socialism. i am willing to say he is a murderer! so lying might not be a stretch for him, and would concede for the sake to advance this argument, that everything that eve rcame out of his mouth was a LIE!
so we can advance this discussion to his actual deeds. i consider enacting laws regulation and policies deeds! and if his deeds mirror those of a socialist, then wouldn't the argument be he is a socialist.
is this not reasonable to ask, we judge him by his action when he was in power form 1933 to 1945. if this is not reasonable on what merrits do we judge a person to conclude that he is a socialist!

also it is easier to say the right is racist.

for example the right says their is no such thing as hate speech. not because we want racist to say racist stuff.

but if a government gets to decide what hate speech is, it will be used to silence the political opponents.
also what might be offensive to you might not be offensive to anything. offensive speech is not universal. if i go to japan or africa somewhere and yell in the street "jews are filthy for example" it might offend nobody. but if you do it at a family party of mine. you might offend 80% of the people .


also the extreme right aka the libertarians believe you own your body and your property, you should be fre to do with your body and property whatever you want. so if you own 100.000 dollars and it is yours. you use it to build a business yu should have the right to deny anyone service. you should be allowed to have a no jews allowed sign outside. because someone ho used that 100.000 dolalr to buy a house, has every right to bar someone from entering their house baed on whatever criteria he wants be it racist or legitamte.


that is why people usually associate the right with racism. you can sya anything you want, i might not agree with it, yuou may do with your body and property as you please whether i like it or not.

the good thing is if you open a store and put no jews allowed we do not need the government to come down on hi. because that guy has the freedom to put a "no jews allowed sign"
but me and everybody else has the right to "boycot" him. because the free market will tell you just as you can do with your money body and property as you please, so can everybody else. so lots of people will chose to not go into the store!

My post was in response to Dala keeping the debate open with Dutch on this tired *** issue.

Dutch keeps saying other people are "screaming" about Hitler being right-wing. Log has an A+ post explaining how it absolutely doesn't matter. We should have followed that lead and shut that line of discussion down, since, you know, it doesn't matter at all if Hitler was a leftist or a rightist or based on our current political landscape a hybrid and/or some one who got his foot in the door with socialism (everyone was a socialist in the aftermath of the great depression, it was the place to be for smart political figures in the 1930s) and then flipped to hard-right authoritarianism. It doesn't matter.

I know next to nothing about Ben Shapiro. I listened to all of that and that was rough to listen to. He is saying there is no stats of something but there is overwhelming stats showing that he is wrong on that. Its nice to say look at individual cases and we should but it is overwhelmingly larger than that. Most people are racist, that is the fact that he and many struggle to accept but its pretty easy to see both anecdotally and with studies and evidence.

From this it sounds like he is trying to get everyone to buy into a concept that people want to hear. The easy safe path. I am sure he gets a lot of support because of it. I am guessing a lot of white conservatives really like him.

He sounds like he is smart and has well crafted arguments to prove his points.

Yeah, I was going to repost a reply I had on the subject, but I'm fond of you and this forum, so I won't, lol.

I did wake up out of a bad dream this morning with the feeling America is going through some kind of psychotic episode. A narrative of what is happening and whose fault from the Right. A narrative of what is happening and whose fault from the Left. A post truth landscape that will become permanent, and nobody will ever again agree what is fact and what is fiction. No facts that can be agreed on in science, in history, in politics, in religion, in anything whatsoever. Will we get to the point where we argue over which direction is north, does the sun rise in the east? None of this seems very psychologically healthy.

I'm so sick of it all, and depressed over what is happening in America, with such a headache trying to figure out exactly what the hell do I call what is happening in America anyway, it seems like some kind of nation wide insanity is endemic and incurable, the afterlife, if there is one, is looking better all the time.
