I am unclear why it matters where Hitler falls on the political spectrum, especially since the spectrum isn't black and white and isn't the same now as it was nearly 100 years ago. He had socialist policies, and white supremacist policies. He believed in white racial purity, while he also provided a form of universal healthcare and strong social programs to get them out of a depression.
But in this he also restricted it based on race.

His was a strange mash-up of social programs and the worst racism ever known to mankind. I do not equate racism itself with modern right-wing politics. I think it falls out of the normal political spectrum. Just because modern racists identify with the right-wing does not mean all right-leaning people are racist.
This is a very weird topic of conversation. And really irrelevant.
