The Jazz would never lose on purpose. You are right, we may very well suck again next year, and get two more lottery picks. Ours and the Kings.
I guess my point is if we are going to be in the lottery again I hope its not 9-14. I want us to be at least top 10. Fringe lottery will hurt a lot.

I'm hoping we either make the playoffs, or get a top 8 pick. Barely missing the playoffs will really sting, and will probably miss out on the really good players in the lottery.

If the Jazz barely miss the playoffs, they probably won't have their own pick. There's a chance the Jazz don't draft at all next year (if GS does bad enough).
 
The Jazz just have to play next year like they did the 2nd half of last year and we should have a top 6 pick locked up.
I won't hope for that because I want them to win... but I still wouln't cry too much if they were that bad.
I would just hate to see what that does to our players if that happens.
 
I think that Utah will make a few trades around draft day, with the likes of Okur, Bell & possibly Millsap being moved. And I just don't see how Utah wont make the playoffs this next year.

Good luck to us moving Okur until he proves he can play. Yes, he has an expiring contract so perhaps closer to trade deadline we might be able to trade him.

...neither the Jazz or any other NBA team will be playing next year! Which means our two picks this year have a whole year to hone their game (playground/AND1, etc.) and be ready for 2013!
