Utah Jazz vs Toronto Raptors Tonight at 7pm MST 11/3/2017

Hood needs to get his shot figured out asap. Maybe he should switch roles with Mitchell until then?

No.

Why switch things up with Mitchell when he is playing well in his role and he is getting plenty of minutes?

For what? What are teams really giving up for a PF/C when nearly every team has a center and most teams dont want to play a Favors style 4?

I'm not just going to blindly call to trade a player if I can't think of any reasonable trade that makes sense for any team.

A team with an injury might need someone like Favors.

NO

Dear ****ing god.

You don't just give away players you have spent 4 years developing and are actually quality starter level players.

People who become homers of a certain player become so annoying.

Hood has value... and he's not riding to the promised land with Donovan and Rudy.

Mitchell is good either way. Hood might need a confidence booster playing 2nd tier guys for a bit. Hood is so frustrating to watch he's talented and streaky.

Getting benched in a contract year is a confidence booster?

Should be another win. Lowry sucks so far ( most overrated free agency signing by far, 33 mil a year for undersized shot happy PG who can't defend anybody) and he used to be Jazz killer. Raptors tried to change culture and play a bit more team ball but that ended after few games when they reversed to iso happy, jumpshooting team centered around Lowry and DeRozan. They got blown out by Denver two days ago and all their excuse was - "oh that altitude makes it tough"... lol.
Jazz win today. Me and JimLes are hitting a local pub to watch game together, just for that occasion there is no other way!

They try to shoot more threes than before. Does not mean they make them. They are ranked 29th in 3pt FG % so far

Good call, dumbass.

Good way to piss him off so that he considers taking the QO to become unrestricted in a year.

The only chance DM has of starting this year is if Hood could move to the 3 and Ingles moves to the bench.

Either that or Hood misses time with an injury, and Mitchell dominates to a degree you can't send him back to the bench.

The Jazz are a third-tier Western Conference team right now. We're about on par with the Grizzlies and Blazers. We'll probably make the playoffs and win a couple playoff games. However, I don't think we're good enough offensively to win a series, unless Mitchell, Hood and Rubio all go off consistently.

This is really a transition season, and we need to think about where we go from here, assuming Favors and Joe Johnson don't return next season.

Gobert isn't getting the space he needs to be most effective due to the fact that there isn't much meaningful movement in our offense. Guys are just too limited in terms of what they can do. Only Mitchell can create for himself without the offense grinding to a halt. Other guys can only score in a few limited situations. The offense is just a grind.
