What's new

Exum coming back this season or not?

Whats everyones feeling in regards to the FO and Exum?

Do they still beleive in him?
Is he still a part of the teams future?
Has the FO seen enough?

I think all we can go on is the fact that he was really good in summer league and he and Mitchell looked good together. You can't give up on that.

I think they have a very big belief in Snyder’s ability to make something of Exum.

He looked really good. There was enough there for me to get excited about. At this point there is no reason to cut bait. He likely doesn’t get a huge offer unless he comes in and setsnthe world on fire for a month or two at the end of the season. Couldn’t get any value in a trade.

I’m not sure why some are willing to gamble trade assets and a huge contract with Jabari... Exum is a good prospect, won’t require a contract Parker’s size, and hasn’t had a reoccurring injury. The shoulder was a fluke play.

completely agree. DL was practically foaming at the mouth talking about how good he expected him to be this year. Conveniently for the Jazz i would expect X has virtually no value on the open market so best case is we get a dude on a pretty reasonable contract who hopefully will blow up over the next couple years.

If you know DL was practically foaming at the mouth about how good he expected Exum to be this year, why wouldn't other GMs know..........If Exum looks healthy and fast ,he'll get attn.

1. No one knows what Exum's agent is asking for.
2. After this season, Jazz only have one PF (Jerebko) under contract. Well, Thabo if you consider him a possibility.
3. Jazz have a logjam at the 1/2.

There is absolutely no way Gordon is not going to be a Magic next year. Any contract you throw at him Orlando is going to match.

Idk... they do some weird stuff. Harris and Oladipo gone for basically nothing. They do not have common sense. haha

They have a new GM.

Gordon will get maxed and matched or a 5 year deal from Orlando... they may not be smart but they aint that dumb.

What's the vet minimum for a player with 4 years of experience?

Part of me wonders if the DX signing could a Steph Curry-esque moment for us.

The only reason the W's were able to sign Durant was that Curry was on the best contract in NBA history due to his previous ankle injuries. At $10M(ish) per, he was so grossly underpaid it should have been illegal.

Not saying Exum will ever be Curry. But if he could turn into a fringe all-star on a bargain contract, that's the type of luck that we'll need to turn into a contender.
