So we've been playing fast and got really good results, why not stick with it or even build upon it?

Mitchell = Harden (dynamic, can pass & finish & shoot 3's) - Let him start at PG
Gobert = Capella (Long, athletic, good finisher)
Ingles = Ariza (Long defender who can knock down 3's)
Burks = Eric Gordon (dynamic combo guard, can score off the dribble, knock down 3's)
Hood = Good 3pt shooter
Sefelosha/Jarebko = 3s and Ds
Favors = ?

You get the idea. Houston's offense has been running hot and it looks like the League is trending that way. We certainly have the personnel to do it.

Also there's been a lot of talks about how Gobert's offense isn't improving. IF he isn't going to be that low block scorer, why not limit him to finishing dunks (ala what Capella is doing)?

I think QS is trying to, isn't he?

Favors will eventually be replaced by a stretch 4.

I'd like to think Rubio will be replaced as well but my guess is he's in for the entire year for the sake of "making it work" . In other words the FO doesn't want egg on their face after trading for the guy.

Yes I do hope so too.

No not at all. Houston is an isolation based offense. It's night and day difference. What glue do you huff to think Quin is trying to do that?

I think the OP was referring to shot selection. 3s and dunks with a penetrating guard.

The Jazz don't have the atheletes to play iso ball. Picks and screen and pop will always be a big part of this offense. At least with this roster.

Because James Harden is not on the Jazz. I love spida as much as anybody, but don't go there. Offensively it isn't close.
You’re right. Harden isn’t as good and Mitchell is a lot tougher and much less whiny.

So the OP has no idea what constitutes an offense other than the end result?

As much as I love Donovan... He's not exactly Harden. If he was, we'd be looking at one of the top seeds in the West, not the 8th.

if DonJuanovan got a whistle every time he touched the ball, our offense WOULD be pretty damn good. i agree, lets replicate the rockets game plan.

I don't think anyone is really that close to Harden IMO.

The jazz weren't playing any faster, just were so efficient and hitting every shot in sight. Also Favors is more efficient in the pick' roll game
