Defensive rebounding. What went wrong?

The thunder had 88 total FGA.
the Jazz had 72 total FGA.

that's 16 more opportunities!

12 turnovers on the jazz. The biggest WTF stat from last night, the thunder had 15 OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS!

so wtf happen? nobody boxed out? Joe Johnson looked absolutelty done to me. I think Burks would have helped us a great deal on the rebounds. He should have got more time than the mummified remains of joe johson.

Though Gobert helps, I’m really not a huge fan of the lack of rebounding when throwing around a lot of names for perimeter 4s. I couldn’t stand getting clobbered on the boards last year with Boris and Trey off the bench. This has improved a lot, though, with Udoh and Jerebko. I’d like a better plan in the starting lineup than having Gobert clean the glass, especially as guys like Ingles and Hood are not great rebounders. A guy like Ryan Anderson would be nice but kill us on the glass. Spacing would be awesome, though.

Kevin Love, FTW.

kevin love's rebounding is over-rated tbh. He leaves his man to go rebound. ps we're not getting Kevin Love.

I disagree with this. Plus a Kevin Love defensive rebound is more valuable than most because of his outlet pass ability.
