Take out Thabo and Hezonja and I’m game.I wish we could trade Hood, Thabo and Favors to Orlando for Fournier and Hezonja.
I’d prefer Fournier if he’s obtainable. He has the size and skill set the Jazz covet and he already has an existing relationship with one of our franchise players. His age puts him right in the middle of Rudy’s window. I think he’d fit in well if the cost was reasonable.
I agree. The fact he can play defense and has the potential to shoot around 48% from the field while also being a 6'8" SG is enticing. That's why I proposed the Favors, Thabo, and Hood for Fournier and Hezonja trade. And now some people are talking about trading for Fournier in the Mirotic thread which is neat. Plus I think it's safe to say Rudy and Fournier would play well together as they already have done so in the past.
I know people don't want to trade Thabo but if it got the deal done I'd love the trade.
Mario is terrible. His brain is broken.

I agree. I think the goal should be to build around Gobert/Mitchell, with that slightly skewed towards Gobert. Focus on 2019/2020, with the intent to get as good as possible and see how they do in the playoffs. I think Fournier would be a good player for the Jazz if they could get him for a reasonable cost.Fournier would be great here for us, Rudy will always like that he has another French brother by his side, I don't want to part ways with Thabo tho

Fournier fits, and can step right in as Hayward-lite. In fact, his numbers to start this season are very similar to what Hayward’s were to finish out the 2014/15 season. They have different strengths and weaknesses, but I think he’d be a great fit for the Jazz as they pivot to the Gobert/Mitchell tandem.

Magic fans I’ve talked to have hinted that there’s some friction in the locker room between Aaron Gordon (who looks to be the future star player there) and Fournier/Vucevic (who are being marginalized with AG and Jonathan Issac as the future cornerstones). Bismack Biyambo has an awful contract that would take major assets to unload. I think Utah could make a decent case that Rubio/Jerebko plus a lottery protected pick gives them some options to do that AND saves them millions of dollars in the long run. Rubio might actually turn out to be a great fit for them. If not, he becomes an expiring contract next year - opening up a Max Contract slot for them much sooner than they would otherwise be able to.I agree with this but I dont understand why Orlando would want to get rid of him he is their 2nd best player, under contract and a good fit with Gordon. If they do I assume they are going full tank and want good picks for him. But I still would assume they have better players to dump for a tank.
