Measurements

Are Biyombo's measurements available?

He got measured for the Hoops Summit about a month and a half ago and should be measured again at the Adidas Eurocamp in June.

When he WAS measured he was at >240 and >6' 9" in shoes with a 7' 7" wingspan and 9' 3" standing reach. But I'm pretty sure you knew that.

Yeah, I didn't remember them specifically but recalled the insane wingspan and standing reach. Any idea if his verts were measured too?

I don't think they did any athletic testing. But 240 at that height and body fat (it was something like 5%) and with that standing reach, he could have pedestrian athleticism and still have an impact with his size. I'd be interested to see what he did with vertical leap, though I take athletic testing with a grain of salt (partially because Tyler Hansbrough rated out as having about the same body as Blake Griffin, also Luke Babbitt's testing last year).

Safe to say it's pretty good.

Then trade Harris to the Blazers for Matthews +1. Then you gotta pick up a PG somewhere to run with Watson.

The shine after Bismack's NHS performance is becoming 5 minutes ago. I wonder if he might actually slip to 12 on his own.

I don't want to give up future picks. I want to collect picks for next year's draft.

Fran F. was pretty down on Biyombo while he was talking about him at the Combine. (Bismack wasn't at the combine, but Fran F. was talking about his impressions of him having seen him a bit in the spanish league).

A project, but a promising one. Don't want to use the 3rd pick on him but 12 I would. Dunno how much I'd trade to move up to get him though.

I'd be bloody shocked if he slipped to 12. I don't think he'll last beyond 8. I'm totally enamored with the guy; I'd trade up without hesitation.

I think he could. The Morris twins measured out better than expected and one may definitely propel ahead of him for a team that doesn't want to wait three years.

3. DWill/Kanter
4. Jonas
5. Knight
6. Vesely
7. Walker
8. Marcus Morris
9. Leonard
10. Burks (Mil loves him)
11. Donatas
12. Biyombo

Very realistic.

Without shoes:
Kemba height = Raymond Felton; ¼ inch taller than Ty Lawson, Johnny Flynn; ¼ inch shorter than Chris Paul, Eddie House.

I refuse to believe that Walker is any bigger than Bilbo Baggins. You've all convinced me of this. thx.

So much for Kanter having legit center size. He is slightly undersized when he is barely hitting 6'11" with shoes. Even considering:

Kanter = Greg Monroe, Troy Murphy, DeAndre Jordan, Rasheed Wallace; ¼ inch taller than DeMarcus Cousins, Channing Frye; ¼ in shorter than LaMarcus Aldridge, Nazr Mohammed, Kwame Brown

I would love to see a legit 7-footer come to us.

Little help figuring the liklihood of a Bismack fall to 12

Let's say first four picks are Irving, Dwill2, Kanter, Knight. This seems fairly likely.

5 - Raptors. Do they take Bismack?
6 - Wizards. They already have Mcgee, so I don't think so.
7 - Kings. They have Cousins and Dalembert. They might take him but I think they want a PG.
8 - Pistons. ? Do they want Bismack?
9 - Bobcats. ? I dunno - do they need Bismack?
10 - Bucks. They have Bogut. Do they have any needs more pressing than a defensive center?
11 - Warriors. Biedrins is their center. I guess Bismack could be a PF there but they have Lee and someone else I'm forgetting. Do you think they take Bismack?

Oh, thanks for answering my question before I asked it.
