I'm glad they are holding him out... that is the smart thing to do. We have all seen it happen with Rod... 10 healthy games then 2 week injury. Trade him before he is hurt.

Dunno about shot in the chest, but if you're talking about being stabbed in the chest numerous times by ex lovers then yes definitely.

He isn't going to gut the team. DL recognizes and has said that we need a stretch 4. Everyone knows that Favors is a decent center who will command a contract much higher than what the Jazz are willing to pay for a backup center, so of course we're shopping him now before we loose him. Matching Hood's contract next summer is likely, but I'm sure DL would rather trade him for a good PF.

DL wants that stretch 4, and to get him, he is willing to look at any deal that doesn't involve Gobert or Mitchell. Hood, Burks, Ingles, and Jerebko are good backups for whatever team we build, but they are not starter quality. But if we get that stretch 4 (Mirotic?), we can add any of them to our starting lineup (excepting Jerebko) and have success, even if Rubio is our starting point guard.
