Report: Jazz ready, willing, able to deal

Shot to the heart ? You’re to blame.

You give Love a bad name
Worst band ever. Also silly they’re considered a rock band and not a pop band.
Guess it was Alec that was getting traded before but now it's Hood on whom the trade talks are centering.
I think Alec was getting traded based on your DNP theory. I haven’t seen that anywhere else.

You’ve survived being shot in the chest with 3 arrows by a jilted lover ??

Or you had the red priestess allow you to fondle her naked breast and you declined ??
I think it's more the 14 yr old kissless virgin who hangs out with a fat guy named Sam

Some of the statements in this thread are way overblown. Utah was a 51 win team last year and replaced Haywood with Mitchell and Hill with Rubio. If anything, our bench is better than last year. This team isn't the disaster area some are making out to be.

3 key factors make up the difference. Gobert being injured, poor fit and because of those factors the team has never had a chance to jell. We need to replace a one or two key pieces and become healthy and this team could easily be better than last years.

The hard part is finding one key piece. Hate to say it, but this team could benefit from some timely injuries to finish off the tank. That's our best shot at finding the right player in the draft, or having a pick valuable enough to trade for a significant player.

Honestly swapping Rubio for Mirotic would change our lives. Assuming Rudy is healthy I think that puts us right back at 50 wins.

Not suggesting a straight swap but just saying the space Rubio takes away and the space Niko would add would have an exponential affect.

We have a great core and I just thought when the injury happened and we started slow that a quick one year tank adding another potential star would make this team incredibly dangerous. Then do the other moves in the offseason - moving Rubio and getting a stretch four. Doesn't have to be Niko.

Stealing Niko for 50 cents on the dollar would be a great start. People would be shocked if they didn't trade him, so if I'm the Jazz I wait them out. Neither team has a ton of urgency, but I'd say they have more than us.

First lets invest in a big man who can shoot and draw defenders out of the paint for Gobert.
I'm excited to see Gobert paired with a PF who can hit the 3. Or even the long two consistently.

Get a new PG if something better come along. Be open to it, and we are.

Move Hood for either pics or a player who gels better with our core (and is more durable).

Favors needs to go. Like yesterday.

Burks can stay or go depending on what the return is. No need to move if we don't get anything worthwhile.

If we add at least one or two solid pieces we'll be good next year.

Add that with the draft, Exum's return (hopefully), and Thabo.

Id change grabbing a PG to grabbing a SF and moving Ingles to the bench. DM, Exum and Neto will cover PG.

Id say only get a PG if the right offer comes along, which I believe they are doing. I don't think they are shopping Ricky, but hes available.

Clearly, Ricky is hit or miss. Hopefully we can see a little more consistency from everyone now that Gobert is back. Lets get into a groove, and really see what we have.
