Word is Philly is all in on Bolden. Another reason Saric may shake freeI'd rather get assets from Philly (1st round pick, Korkmaz, draft rights to Bolden/Pasecniks/Lessort) than give up assets for Saric.
The best deal out there that I see is something with JoeJ and Hood and Philly and Bayless and their 2018 1st and Korkmaz.

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot?Cool, they can get the guy they probably would have drafted with the 1st from the George Hill trade.

Mitchell being as good as he already is in the 1st year of his rookie deal is a huge advantage as it allows us to gamble by offering a max contract to a RFA since the deal would come off the books right as Mitchell is due for an extension (if I'm not mistaken).
Imo we should trade Hood for a mid-1st (maybe to LAC for 1 of their 2 1st's if they don't go into full rebuild mode?) + Favors/JJ/etc for anything of future value (even if only to improve our own draft position).
I know some here would prefer to target a proven player that is a few years away from FA/RFA but if we're going to try to lure away a Parker/Gordon/etc, which not attempting to do so imo would be a waste of the "additional" max contract slot that Mitchell's rookie deal essentially provides us this off-season, getting another (potential) star on another rookie deal is essential & the most economical route available imo (financially & in terms of giving ourselves the best possible odds of forming our own big 3). He would also serve as security in the event that the RFA signing doesn't pan out.
Gambling on a top-tier RFA & giving DL the best possible odds of drafting a 3rd star would give us 2 shots at finalizing our long-term core & setting ourselves up as a legitimate long-term championship contender. Which I truly believe we have the potential to be.
8 years then. We can still put a damn good team around him after he signs his mini-max after his rookie.By the way, the championship window is between now and when Mitchell gets paid. We got four years to get this figured out, boys, cuz that boy is getting PAID.
He's gonna make that All-NBA money though.8 years then. We can still put a damn good team around him after he signs his mini-max after his rookie.
Possibly. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s overlooked for the early part of his career. He's gonna make that All-NBA money though.
MVP next year book that ****.Possibly. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s overlooked for the early part of his career.
Not gunna happenIf the Warriors actually try to trade for LeBron the NBA needs to veto it. League parity is already suffering big time.
