So who do they pick?.....my guess is Kanter.

Most likely. It doesn't make sense for them to draft a 3/4 in Williams when they have Love, Beasley, Johnson and Webster, having a big hole in the 5 spot.
The crazier thing he said was "I'm okay with Kahn." So are the teams (including Utah) that are abusing the Timberwolves in the trade department, BTW.Nothing set in stone. For the right deal I have no doubt they would trade it. Good way to drive up the value of the pick
This is just Kahn trying to up the value of the pick. He doesn't want every owner thinking that the #2 pick is up for sale for pennies on the dollar.
This says not only nothing new, but nothing at all. "We'll keep the pick... or maybe we'll trade it."
I like the way you think. I hope it resembles reality.I personally see it going one of 2 ways: keep it and draft Kanter or trade it to (or pick for) Washington who in turn picks Kanter. I think we have the best player in the draft slip to us without giving up anything, and thats DWill2.
Did you not read the part where it said, "But we are open to trade"?
It probably would have to be a trade that would land the Timberpups an allstar-quality player.
Plenty of allstar quality players get traded every year.
