Lol, that's a terrible comparison. So was your comparison to Haywood. You're usually a pretty solid poster, but you're way off on this IMO. Keeping Hood wasn't anymore worth the trouble than keeping Kanter. Utah also got good value for Hood, and nothing close to any deal where someone got fleeced.
Never once said the Jazz got fleeced, I'm not comparing the trades, I'm comparing that thought process. I think it was a different thought process the Jazz had than the Cavs.
Relationships aren't irreparable. Getting a 600% pay increase could have a funny way of working it out.
Again, I'm not arguing against the trade. I'm not arguing against what they received. I'm saying that there is risk Hood gets a team-friendly payday.
