Anyone else an Olympics fan? I'll be watching the Opening Ceremonies tonight (and the Jazz game on commercial breaks).

I was so excited to see Salt Lake City's own Nathan Chen last night, and it was the worst performance of his that I have seen. I hope he gets it together by the time of his individual figure skating performance.

I usually watch the figure skating, skiing, luge/bobsled/skeleton, speed skating and snowboarding events. Not a hockey or curling fan.

Go Team USA!

I like the speed skating, ski jumping, skeleton.. the events where the danger element is high adds to the drama

First two medals for Canada today - yes!. But that little 17 year old snowboarder from USA was amazing.

Watching luge this weekend reminded me of what a wimp I am. I just cannot see why anyone would find that fun, although watching it is entertaining. It was cool that the USA won silver in the men's luge since that hadn't happened before.

Its a farce and shows how corrupt and morally bankrupt the IOC are, they're exposing their whole movement for the joke it is.
But they need to punish countries who support doping their athletes somehow, and I'm glad that the athletes who are clean are getting to compete.

The looks on the faces of the competitors is priceless ... just sheer terror

Cyclists all doping is different to winter olympic athletes. Sports that are based on who has the best strength/endurance are just physiology and will always have athletes doping, skill based events not so much. Dunno how doping helps you while you're flying down a skeleton run at a zillion miles an hour

OK, has anyone seen bi-athlon? The sports where you ski around a course carrying a rifle and when you make the loop you crouch down and hit targets, and go again and the fastest man/woman wins?

Has anyone thought why running around a course with a pistol in your hand, and shooting a target isn't in the Summer Olympics?

Double standard much?!?!?!
