Boozer Update

He's a former Jazzman. This can stay here. It's the offseason too, not a lot to talk about.

It's great he's getting called out.
He's a solid starter. Not a guy to help you win a title, push you over the top, etc.
We learned that, and now the Bulls are.

On the other side Big Al is the same way. There aren't too many players who can take you to the next level.
Boozer is a good player, but he's not elite, not great, and will never win a title. Frankly I'm thrilled we've moved on.
Although Big Al isn't that much better, I think his health and blocks make him the better player.
Neither are stars though.

i agree, we would better off trading jefferson, and pick kanter

Is this the right place to post this? Oh well, here goes. Haberstroh, an ESPN "Insider" and stats geek, has some advice for the Bulls:

Those numbers are pretty hilarious considering I've watched every game Boozer played in his last two seasons here and I always thought we were a better team with him on the floor. But oh the numbers don't lie according to the Sloanfidels. They are infallible. Numbers don't mean a thing. These stats don't take into account that when Boozer was out of the game our bench would usually be playing against their bench. These numbers also don't take into account garbage time. No point in continuing this argument with crap numbers.

These stats don't take into account that when Boozer was out of the game it was because of his yearly 15-30 game injury which makes it even worse. Fixed.
